For those who are still using AOL’s backwards email system, I discovered another drawback.  In addition to the poor spam filtering and obnoxious advertising, they only save your “Recently Deleted” email for 24 hours before permanently deleting it.   Google saves it for 30 days.   Time to move on, you last holdouts!
