If your Windows 10 file sharing is no longer working after an update, go to the computer sharing the files and follow this procedure.

1. Click Start in the bottom left corner, then type “control” without the quotes, then press Enter.
2. Click on “Network and Sharing Center.”
3. Click on “Change Advanced Sharing Settings” in the upper left.
4. Scroll down and click on “All Networks.”
5. Click “Turn off password protected sharing,” then Save Changes and reboot.
